A Balcony or a Terrace needs a waterproofing layer the can withstand daily pedestrian traffic, constant exposure to humidity, weathering, acid rain attack and ongoing movement stresses.
So the waterproofing layer needs to be durable, high impact- and abrasion resistant finish, and it should also function as crack-bridging but on the same time be hard-elastic.
