The Campus of POMPEUS FABRA UNIVERSITY in Barcelona/Spain is a very modern and complex structure of halls connected via walkways and stairs, located on the ground or suspended in the air as bridges. These walkways are used by thousands of students, professors and staff of the University in an every day basis.
These pedestrian decks needed a durable, high impact- and abrasion resistant finish, which could also function as an hardelastic and crack-bridging waterproofing layer.
The waterproofing layer should also offer a decorative aspect, according the wishes of the famous architect who designed this project.
